What is Electrical Energy Engineering
Electrical energy engineering involves the generation of electrical energy, often using alternative energy sources, its control, using power electronic converters to change voltage and frequency, and its application in industry, transport and the home. To see examples in alternative energy projects, sky-diving simulation, production of film props, pavement laying, stell manufacture and lots more, click on the links to the right.
What is the E3 Academy
The E3 Academy supports the development of young people interested in challenging and well-paid careers in leading UK engineering companies. As well as holding scholarships at the participating universities, our E3 scholars are supported with vacation work placements, summer schools and company mentoring, leading to employment after graduation.
A Career in Electrical Energy Engineering
After graduation, former E3 scholars are able to follow a very wide range of career paths with their sponsoring companies, as illustrated by these profiles:
|Cara Bertram||James Hallatt|
|Ed Peate||Charles Tivey|
